You can reschedule vfs appointment so long as you do it 48 hours before the time. Why don't you reschedule vfs to give yourself more time to recover from the problem?
And I agree with Howerd. If all you've lost is some letters and some bills, you can always resend a council tax bill or duplicate utility bill and get the letters rewritten. What exactly is the list of documents that are missing and how many of them really are necessary and irreplaceable? I suspect you can do without the letters and I personally included just a council tax bill.
Thanks ChoiAndJohn,I'm thinking of that but after checking the documents it appears we have proofs of his present address,it can be seen on his pension documents and the land registration,and his bank statements ,im confident those are more solid evidences he stays in that address.And Howerd's suggestion to get a letter from DHL confirming the incident that supplemental documents went lost,is brill! Thank you guys.( sometimes the test is hard before our victory,isn't it). We will push on!
Some irresponsible people handling..( I hope that the photos of the bank cards in it were not the reason it went lost! (Just my "Nancy Drew" ability ).Thank God it was just the front ( face) photo.
In it were , 2 empty but post office stamped envelops of the letters I sent him,the letters are with me already,went ahead on 2nd parcel ,my older sister's letter to him ,welcoming him to our Big Family.his car insurance ,poll registration, elect bill,addtl photos of him inside the house showing each room, 2 bank cards photos ..ALL ARE SUPPLEMENTAL. Re the stamped envelops,good that i had kept those tiny pieces of paper with nos. In it ( sort of tracking or mail nos. From post office each time I sent him an " air mail"..I will just put a note in it.
Those are important ,but can be replaced, except the post office stamped envelops.I can maybe include previous DHL' s delivery address forms with his address in it,the one with bar code..at least I have that.
Much as I wanted to give myself some rest of day or 2 from this stress,I can not because I had set my biometrics in Cebu VFS and RESCHEDULING is only available, if you will refund the application fee, only then you could get another schedule after you are able to pay it again..that's quite a downside.
I'd suggest you go ahead with the submission as originally planned. Not to sound harsh, but there aren't any documents described that will impact the visa application. Good luck

Just an update re the parcel. From Mr.Nickel's end...they still say the same thing from day 1 "they are searching for it". From my end,I emailed them requesting to get a confirmation from them requesting the parcel contained those documents and to this day they are still looking for it.WELL.....that customer rep that told me he was assigned for my concern is no longer available,can no longer connect to him.DISGUSTING DHL SERVICES!
So today DHL called up to tell me parcel reached CUBA ,on it's way to Spain then hopefully reaches Manila and final destination within this week.Plus DHL able to reply to my email after my nudgings that I need it this morning...well it's too late.VFS appointment already done without those documents.
Cuba???????? Err last time I looked Cuba definitely wasn't en-route from Scotland to Manila. You should print out the tracking info when its finished and frame it. I hope the applicaion goes smoothly. I'm sure that these final documents won't be missed. Now the long and painful waiting period starts.
I did some screen shots,what an experience my fiance and I had !!Their reason..."missed sorting" and parcel was found after a check point in Cuba...Thank God my VFS experience was good,staff were friendly and accommodating! So tomorrow is Day 1!

Today Mr.Nickel received a letter from DHL asking for apology and offered him a reimbursement of the cost which is 38.95£ associated with the transit cost.It further said This offer is made with out prejudice toDHL,and should not be deemed as admission of liability by us. Well,and who's incompetence could be this?
