My wife will soon join me in UK. Is NI number printed on back of BRP? Or does she need to apply?

If she need to apply NI number, what's the process? Can it all be done online, or she needs to send original passport somewhere by post?

Ring the number they will ask you some details and then send you a form to complete and send copies of passport and BRO card back with the form.

    Edited see posts below

Just been through the process with wife's daughter.

I applied for my NI last year after I've received my BRP card. I called the number and scheduled an appointment. I had to go to the job centre for it.

Correction on my early post you need to attend the jobcentre if:-

your visa was issued to you in the UK

you have a current residence permit that was issued to you in the UK (This does not mean those visa applied for in the Philippines and the card was collected int the UK)

For clarity I will scan the letter and post later.
