I’m currently in Cyprus and I would say they are a very hospitable giving race on the whole - they can be a little bit crooked in business - but as a people they are givers. So a big YES to them . Selected Others from my travels - India - Yes China - No Ghana - Yes I have experienced bits of this in the Philippines but I don’t generally get the impression it’s as natural and a bit of a struggle.Put it this way - I wouldn’t like to be caught skint for too long there. So - NO Just my opinion.
To be honest ,I find Filipinos really hospitable and welcoming , especially to strangers . I've had numerous offers from complete strangers ,offering to share their food with me , just because I was sitting near to them when they were eating . They are also generous with their time and help , and I've always found them to be among the friendliest people that I have ever met , and I have travelled quite a lot .
I have always found Filipinos welcoming and friendly and always willing to help. I would say the most unhelpful I have come across are Dutch, German and Belgium's.
