Would 'congratulations' messages from friends/relatives responding to a Facebook Post count? I had dozens after Posting the good news and a few pics... me on one knee, etc! I guess you can't fake a FB Post easily, so screenshots should count for something!

anything like that. pile it on--dozens of pages. will keep the ECO amused for about 8 seconds as he glances at the thickness of the wad.

i know when my fiancee was about to apply--i mentioned on here that we hadnt seen each other for nearly 2 years--and one member replied it was a risky application. but we had been in a relationship 4 years by then--including living together on 2 occasions for about a year. i wrote all of this in a letter with the application.

You can download all your Facebook stuff in one big file... look in settings.

Messenger pics are all saved (by the Google Gallery) in a separate section on my android tablet.

You can probably save all your 'conversations' (FB Messenger's expression for it) to a special downloadable file too... not sure, as I haven't had time to check yet.

Other than that, screenprint and print off all the important pics and (dated chats).

Get into the habit of having dates over-printed on your camera pics... before you take them.

Any pictures taken using digital devices (phones, tablets, etc) will have a date somewhere on the file 'properties'.

When having pics taken with your loved one in far-off places... make sure it's in front of a clearly distinguishable landmark... not M &S in a beige shopping Mall . :D

There is a way to see your complete chat history on Facebook easily. By this method you can also see Photos or videos you've shared on Facebook. Your Wall posts etc. -- 'A copy of what you've shared on Facebook'
    Follow these steps:
    1. Go to 'Account Settings'
    2. Click on 'Download a copy of your Facebook data' from bottom of General section
    3. Then click 'Start My Archive' -- It may take a little while for gather your photos, wall posts, messages, and other information. (Usually 20 to 60 minutes)
    4. Once Archive generated Download it.
    5. Extract and open 'index.html' from downloaded folder
    6. Now you can see 'Messages' on bottom of the page, click it.

Oh... when I was referring to 'Messenger', I was meaning the separate stand-alone FB Messenger app' . :)

Actually, this prompted me to download my FB archive file again, as it's been a while since the last time I did it. To a different Laptop also, so it's less likely to get lost.

Another thing I always do, is upload copies of all my important travel docs and favourite pics, videos, etc, to my 'dropbox' (free download). They can then be accessed anywhere in the world on any device... and easily transferred between devices.

That's something else I was wondering about...

Are you expected to put any comments etc in the 'Additional information' box on either the 'online' VAF4A form, or the printed VAF4A Appendix 2 form - or can you explain/elaborate on some of the 'Yes/No' answers in an accompanying letter?
I feel like there are some things that I want to explain further, but don't want to waste my time if anything that is not on the official form(s) will simply be ignored!

Funny , downloaded my messenger history and found the massive row section. I'll leave that it because if that doesn't prove we are in a relationship nothing does.
