Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Stew Chalmers and i am married to my wife Kimberly who is from the Philippines. We got married in Jan 2017 in Puerto Galera and now we live together in Aldershot, UK. I love the Philippines and the lifestyle and hopefully in the next 15-20 years that is where we will both retire to.

We started the whole process in Oct 17 and did more in Dec 17 prior to our marriage in Jan 18 with a last visit to the UK embassy and VFS in Manila to process the applicarion and received confirmation in Mar 18. The wife did her English test and TB in Manila in Dec 17 which tied in nicely.

From the point of submission to VFS Global in Manila it took approx 2 months to receive the thumbs up

He nailed the marriage date in the opening post, so everything else can be assumed to be days in the month relative to the year they got married :D

So Oct 17 should be Oct 17 2016 but of course there are a lot of 17s and an 18 ;) :D so maybe not :D
