Congratulations. It won't be so long. I was married end may and started paperwork prep right away. We applied online by 1 July and she was here end August. So you might have to be wait only 3 months if you work fast. :)

Thank you @ChoiAndJohn. May i ask if did she change her last name on passport?

No. All the documents were left in her maiden name. There is no requirement to Change name and frankly I thought it was more trouble than it was worth. The name can be changed at any time in the future when it's more. Convenient.

I can't remember how much validity you need but surely you would find it easier to renew your passport before you start? I ensured that everyone had fresh passports before we started to avoid hassles.

If the application form for the renewal asked if you are married then state the truth. I don't know what you mean by change status. II don't believe your passport inductes on it anywhere that you are married or single.

Sorry i double check my passport it doesn't indicate status. So its fine ill just renew it that's all. Thanks.

I seem to remember somewhere that you're supposed to do that if you're married to a foreign national.

I also seem to remember reading that the passport you use to enter the UK must be valid for the length of your visa or stay. So I think you would certainly be wise to renew your passport before applying.

Seems to me your steps will have to be:

    1. CFO course
    2. Apply to renew passport with CFO certificate.
    3. Apply for visa with new passport.
    4. Get Visa. Go for CFO sticker with CFO certificate.
