I wonder if it's something to do with the water (Volcanic)? There seems to be a lot of people in their 80's and 90's over on this island.
The page isn't working for some reason,I wonder if her age is verifiable,I have met a few people in the PI who didn't know their exact age and once saw an Islamic stone on a grave in the duly islands of a guy which claimed he was 130+ years old,but given the area the odds of births being registered and on record somewhere are nil.
Works now mate, her DOB hasn't yet been authenticated,I spent considerable amounts of time in the past in Hunza valley, supposedly Shangri-la due to the longevity of its inhabitants, their great age was attributed to the altitude and diet, but who knows in reality
The soil is very rich specially up in the mountains. Fruit and veg grows quick and banana plants grow fast too.
Wife’s grandparents live in the northern tip of Cebu, just across from Negros Oriental and both are not far off 100yo on a simple diet of fish, rice and veggies.
Alternatively if you visit polomolok and similar areas bordering the DOLE plantations a lot of adults have false teeth, nicking pineapples from the plantations en-route to school, acidic fruit juices.....
