We have an oven ready deal they said. So where is it?

Interesting times ahead. I still think a deal can be reached before Sunday, both sides have much to lose if not. If it's No Deal, the bridge will have to be crossed. Either way, life will never be the same.

I still hope there will not be a deal. Life will be better IMO.

The EU, in its arrogance keeps throwing curved balls.
Sincerely hope Boris and Lord Frost keep cool.

The EU thought that they could rein in Boris, like they did with call me Dave or Theresa May or may not...
But they underestimated the value and guile of the court jester ...

I will be very dissapointed if there is a no deal outcome. I voted for Boris at the last election as I thought it the best way to stop the deadlock that had dragged on for months. I never wanted Brexit in 5he first place but as the country had voted leave I thought that we were in safe hands with the “Oven Ready Deal” slogan.

We cannot blame on Boris what is happening at the moment, he is trying to undo the bad deals that May initiated.
telling the other camp what cards they had and how they were playing them...
Lord Frost and Boris, with Gove in the background don't show their cards, and wait and bluff before "calling".
As a foreign resident in the UK for over 46 years, I have seen Prime Ministers, come and go, and I can confidently say that Theresa May was the worst ever.

I wanted and voted for Brexit from the day Cameron offered the referendum vote to the country.
It has always looked like a No-deal Brexit to me.

The thing is that in typical slimy politician speak, what he was actually telling you was that the withdrawal agreement was 'oven ready' he wasn't talking about a trade deal at all but it probably seemed to many that he was talking about a complete trade deal.

I will quote myself again or rather link to an old thread and post, as what we are seeing now was exactly my prediction 13 months ago.

Take a look at this post John and sorry but it was a reply to someone who I know you would prefer not to read but read the comment chain that I was replying to.

    Petition Do not prorogue Parliament

It's not all that often that I get to say to everyone 'I told you so' and I'm not saying that to you John but to everyone else, however no one cares now, the leavers have convinced themselves that this is what they wanted all along.

Not getting at you Mike I know your views, I don't agree with them but as for everyone you are entitled to your views.

This is what's really happening John, I will probably be accused of promoting conspiracies but this guy is making a rational case where there is plenty of evidence to be seen all around.

In a world where everyone is shouting all the time it is good to hear a calm rational voice cut through the fog of disinformation and distraction that is used to keep us in our place.

He presents logical reasoned arguments with evidence, I am tempted to financially support DDN, they have a lot of other good articles on there by many other presenters.

    edit: I'm not on Twitter.
