Born and grew up in Brum--and never heard of ozzy osbourn till his wife had her 15 minutes of fame. I never knew Black Sabbath were a Brum band: and ive no idea what records they made. I still dont. I think the funeral was just a publicity stunt. Brum groups i do like are ELO and before that the Move. Also UB 40. For the last 55 years i have lived ( mostly) on the I o Wight.
Here's one for you, bigmac: You are nine years older than me so you were in your twenties living in Birmingham when Black Sabbath started out and became popular, releasing this track! It was played everywhere in pubs, clubs, weddings etc..
