Definitely need to update and get my new passport as by the time of going to the PH, I will have less than 6 months left on my passport.
Mine has about 6 months left on but I am going away for possibly 6 months so needed to get a replacement.
I have heard about immigration officers in other countries refusing people entry because their passport had less than 6 months expiry
my most recent passport expired last month. Never used it--wont renew it. I last went abroad in about 2010 Wasnt impressed.
I was refused check-in at Glasgow airport in December 2008 because I only had 4 months left on my passport and my destination was Manila, I had been in Manila 2 months earlier with just less than 6 months on my passport but anyway I managed to get it renewed at the Glasgow passport office in one day on the Monday on an emergency basis lost 3 days of my trip, a lesson learned.
Did the application and sent the old passport off Monday, got this last night, super quick so far, come on the blue UK passport
