Silly way to end their days, far from home asphyxiating or freezing to death in a metal coffin. There are opportunities in China. If your ever in Chinatown in London look out for the small groups of Chinese in cheap shiny suits, we used to call them ii's or illegal immigrants. In Hong Kong mainlanders were not given the chance to settle, they were "repatriated" as soon as caught.

it would be very interesting if police could find out who is organising all this mass illegal immigration. 30 odd chinese dont just rock up in eastern europe by chance.

i wonder if any underpopulated country would welcome settlers like this..after all--it costs money to try to get here...money could be welcome in other places.

The truck is registered in Bulgaria this is a vehicle tax dodge by the Irish owner, a common practice! The truck may never of been to Bulgaria ( the truck registration is a bit of a red herring)
Trailers are owned by shipping companies amongst others and the hauler will sign up to do traction only work.
For example pick a full trl up in one port deliver it and then drop it at a port where his next full tel is. The empty tel stands in the port till the shipper can find a load for it the a hauler comes in collects empty goes and loads it then if the load for abroad will deliver it back to port.
What is very odd in this instance is the unit appears to of travelled from Hollyhead to Purfleet without a trl this is a cost to the hauler without job money coming in.
You would expect hauler to run a trl to Purfleet

Guesstimates for a smuggle run from china by snakeheads is around 20,000 American dollars a head, 39X20,000 is worth the complicated logistics.
