Is anybody suprised ? Really ?

Whether it's his usual macho bluster, or fact, it has to be a new low in Philippines politics.

All Theresa May needs now is a motorcycle to go with her leather pants and she can go round and clean the streets of London up :)

Its pretty difficult from this side of the world to see a countries leader doing that, just think what your average person must think when reading these stories, at least we have a little background on the Philippines.

Not heard him say this on actual TV or video yet but the criminals are scared ****less ...No doubt about it.

History will judge him well I feel if he continues to stamp out these criminals.

If he wants history to judge him well maybe he should get some sort of health service going, rather than have a country that leaves its kids to die if the parents don't have enough money.

I would like to see free schooling and healthcare for everyone worldwide, its a basic necessity for every country, you have not arrived in the first world until then.

Try telling that to my sister in law who's son was left to die because they couldn't get admitted anywhere one night after he fell over due to not having money.

As far as I'm concerned, the Philippines health system is a disgrace. They could at least treat a one-year-old kid without thinking about profit.

For about 25 Quid a year,so far it has proved to be good value..
For those that think they might want to live here though and be fully covered you might want too look at some more fully comprehensive plans!!

So have you used this system? How does it work?

I mentioned it to my wife and she immediately poo-pooed it saying that you can't trust anything Philippines, but if there really is a system it might be worth looking into for the benefit of her family.

Well...As you chose to ignore the people that actually live here that actually know stuff about these issues, you can only really refer to your Mrs that "Poo poos" anything Philippines from there in the U.K!!.. Ha ha!!

    Thanks for the assistance.

You've clearly been overseas for too long as you don't seem able to read English anymore.

Go on admit it. You don't actually know enough about it to give any proper advice do you.

Any sensible people out there who can give proper information about the Philippines Health Service?

The Wikipedia page was very difficult to make sense of.

Is this thread going to disappear into thin air, as the Methersgate adoption one did, earlier, without explanation ?

    Strange forum this.

People like you don`t need assistance from the likes of me as you already know it all ...Right?
No idea how you read my post because in your own words you have me on "ignore"!! lol

I have never told you I have you on ignore, so why would you be privvy to that private information? Maybe this forum isn't the decent place I thought it was.

But as you mention it, yes there are one or two members whose posts can be irritating so I put them onto ignore so that I can choose whether or not I wish to read their posts, and, yes, you are one of them.

I am reading your posts now because, rather foolishly, I thought you might have something useful to say. My mistake.

Yes I have tons of good information from first hand experience in regards health care in the Philippines.
Those that are seriously in need can send me a private message if they so wish
    You???
Ask your Mrs!! (then put me back on ignore)

Graham, please disregard your wife's scepticism about things Filipino, PhilHealth is worth having. It costs about £20 per person, per year. I'm no expert on all its provisions but I do know that around one-third of both of my wife's Caesarians were covered and about 60% of my younger son's hospitalisation to repair a hernia was also covered.

Thanks. Is there some sort of link giving proper details? It might be something worth looking into if certain health issues in the family continue.
