Phillipine Travel Almost Back to Normal

As of the 30th of May, the day I left the Philippines, vaccinated travellers no longer require any RT-PCR or supervised lateral flow test nor do they require travel insurance.

Unvaccinated travellers are still required to provide an RT-PCR taken within 48 hours.

I was informed of this change by a helpful and very chatty KLM Filipino agent who was managing check-in and boarding at a ridiculously slow check-in process and hideous queue on Monday, I had arrived 45 minutes earlier than required only to find the check-in desks already open with 100 people immediately in front of me and this chap kept me occupied for a while :)

This was me joining the queue there are hundreds of people to the left of me already queuing in front of me.

This was my position 45 minutes after chatting to the bloke, I was standing in this spot for 20 minutes waiting for one guy to be processed and eventually they sent him to Customer Service :(

I've since found online corroboration that this policy change is real RT-PCR Test no longer required for Fully-vaxxed travelers — Travel with Lindela (lindelatravel.com)

Also it appears that Schipol airport has finally removed the mask mandate and KLM no longer had a mask mandate on my return flight only a recommendation.

That's good Jim, saying that you have already had the best booster which is SARS-CoV-2 itself, this Pfizer shot will act as a good reminder to your body as to what to look for.

Woke up this morning feeling rough, with a fever must be the vaccine shot I had yesterday and my heart beating slow and seemed to miss a beat. Late afternoon here and still feel feverish.
I had alcohol last night I wonder if that had something to with it?

Some people do have quite a reaction to the mRNA vaccines like Pfizer, I felt rough for a couple of days after the Moderna RNA booster vaccine.

    Ah Jim,
    Great news indeed.
I had no idea (been busy recently) you went to see your family .
How long were you there and did you have a wonderful time?
I'm so glad you finally made it after waiting so long :)
