Photography?

I buy all my cameras on eBay, I'll reply properly later John, I'll take a look at what's availble on various sites here.

These two are both 13 year old models, my kids love them because of the built in fill flash they use flash all the time in daylight.

The Canon S100 and S110, the S100 has GPS and the S110 has WiFi, I prefer the S100 for the GPS, it is the silver one we have two because they burned out the flashtube in my original S100 camera still works well but no flash.

I got the one in the picuture on eBay delivered from Japan a couple of months back to the UK, the S series are portable camera's for people like me who know a lot about photography but you can set it to P or to Auto and let it do it's own thing so it's good for learners as well, it's the camera I carry when I don't want the weight but I would have to say that my phone cameras probably match these for image quality.





Something in the Canon Ixus series would be good as well quite similar to these old cameras but with newer electronics.

Connecting the camera to the PC to transfer files is not the way to do it, take the SD Card out and put it in a reader connected to a PC or many laptops have SD Card readers built in for file tranfer.

My preference is for Canon but Nikon are equally as good.

I should add that these cameras above are a bit above your budget and this one I also gave to my daughter but she does not use it enough Canon EOS M a superb mirrorless camera.

That's a good camera, they'll enjoy that.

I've never heard of it either, Charlie Brooker was involved in starting it back in 1992 apparently.

Lots of stores in the UK and a couple of hundred overseas concentrates on second hand phones games etc.

Interesting, me I would buy from WEX (Warehouse Express) they do new and used cameras and are photography specialists and eBay but I know what I'm buying and I also know the vendors on eBay that are really top notch.

CEX, I'll grant you that they appear to offer significant warranties which for lots of people is a really good thing.

Second hand camera equipment tends to have a shorter life once it hits the humidity in hte Philippines, you need to look after cables and it's worth storing camera's with silica gel.

The 80D is a good bit of kit, it should serve you well.

John take a couple of pictures with it and post them too, that would be interesting to see the image quality.

They're good, if that's from the little Nikon it's really good.

The moon is very tricky to photograph without a tripod, the exposure is normal daylight because up there it's a sunny day at effectivley the same distance from the light source as we are so the same exposure as we would do down here.

The kitten is nice and sharp and well composed, Janna's kitten is sick just now very sick

And the rain and water drops are well composed and well taken!
