If inconsiderate driving is the answer to grid lock Britain for a legitimate protest like Brexit betrayal, then let it be..
If it happens en masse there will be fuc all the police can do to stop it... Good job!

Our Remainer friends may be rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of Brexit being cancelled BUT they should bear this in mind: Our elected representatives, having ignored their election promises to the 85% who voted Conservative or Labour in 2017 over something as important as Brexit, will think nothing of tearing-up future manifesto pledges with their smug and patronising 'fuc the electorate' attitude.

Blimey. Had no idea that 85% of the electorate was pro Brexit.

No, 85% of those who voted in the 2017 General Election voted for a party whose manifesto included a pledge to honour the referendum result.

They had to vote for someone either that or abstain.

Labour has always supported the referendum just not so suicidally as the Maybot and her nutter red lines that still havnt made the DUPe,s Or facists in her party happy:)

In most constituencies there were candidates from parties other than Labour of the Conservatives, such as the Lib Dems or Greens, that are against our leaving the EU.

The party will be judged by its actions, its words count for nothing.

The problem with this argument is that the deal on the table is not what 82% voted for. Labour offered a much softer Brexit and May refuses to consider it even though it would probably pass on a free vote. At best 42% voted for this deal, of those who voted.

You are trying to claim that the general election was a single issue vote, people will vote for a party that they most agree with it does not mean that they have to agree with everything that a party stands for.

i think a lot of people vote on the basis of the personality of the party leaders or their local candidate. "blame " the media for this.

Michael Foot ( labour--many years back) came across on TV as a bumbling shabby tramp.

Tony Blair came across as young--charismatic-good looking ( like JFK )

    Neil Kinnock--?

So how about Jeremy Corbyn ? at least his PR people got him into wearing a tie

Where does that leave Theresa May?

Incidentally I discovered yesterday that the number of marchers on the "March to Leave" is limited to 100 people,
50 core marchers who complete the full 270 miles from Sunderland to London,
and 50 local marchers who cover one or more legs of the march.

I was aware that they had an application process for those who wanted to march, but not that there was any limit on numbers. Not certain if the limit is being imposed by the police or by the authorities.
