I hope it is not lost, or worst, intercepted by corrupt postal workers.

    Good luck,

Do you have a back-up ready??

Always use a courier like DHL if you want it to get there, I appreciate though that you probably didn't want to go to the added expense for such a small item.

Unfortunately it has to be a courier. Or in a Balikbayan box, if speed is not of the essence.

"Added expense" it cost me £9 to send a £2.50 part, who can you trust, sent a mobile phone again by registered mail but that never got there it seems you can't trust no one, when your there you have to watch your back all the time because you may get rob, and the wife wants me to live there, I don't think so...!

LBC are deemed to be good. We have sent two. Had problems with the second but it still got there intact.

They drop off a box or you collect it. You fill it. They collect it and deliver it.

There are a few other carriers and it can depend a bit on where you live. There are one or two dodgy ones. :D

Aren't such electrical items easily available in the Phils ? I've never had a problem getting hold of computer/phone accessories etc there, often cheaper than buying here in England. I believe you can also order online now and have delivered to the Phils address.

I've used parcel force twice now for visit visa documents using global express so its tracked and signed for, they have both times had problems with the address despite me asking the gf 100 times if its correct, but in the end I gave them her mobile number and they called to find where it is so she got it .

Having looked for mouths she couldn't find one, and that's the reason I sent one out, and finding someone you could trust to do a repair on a laptop is also hard, and even if she was to buy on line the problem with the postman would be the same not able to find the address, odd that other bills and letters get there, anyway can't seeing it coming to my door now after all this time.

Why not order one from DX.com, only $1.99 including free delivery, (£1.27 shipped direct to the Philippines).

Loads of other variations available if the one on the above link is not exactly what you want.
