My Fiancee Visa Online application submitted 6th of August Non-priority Date of biometrics: 18th of August Document Submitted to Sheffield : 8th of August Confirmation email documents received in Sheffield: None VFS Text Update received 18th of August that my visa application was forwarded to UKVI Result: feeling like I'm in limbo ....waiting

i am in the process of filling out vaf4a for my wifes son --hes 11 in the philippines. in order to start the app--it requires a travel date--so i put 14 november. fat chance. problem is--i can only apply up to 3 months ahead---and when the visa is granted its only valid for travel for 30 days.....and my wife wants to fly over there--have a holiday and bring him back with her. this is a nightmare ! cant plan anything with this rubbish non-service we are experiencing.
Same here for me bigmac..I've booked a trip for the end of November for 4 weeks hoping that her indoors and the little one will be able to come back for Xmas but I'm not holding my breath..We just can't make any plans..Our 60 days is up at the end of October so I'm just hedging my bets.
cant book flights. a return from london for her--and a single for him from manila. i had hoped she could go out mid december--spend xmas with her family--and back here in january. or do i put it all on hold a few weeks--and request flight date in january ? still all up in the air.
It's a joke mate..best we can hope for is that whilst I'm there it will be granted and I can book them on my return flight or cancel my return and get three one ways..as you say it's all up in the air..modern day charlatans

so we are about to apply for wifes son's visa. the thing is----we know it will take 3 months--and more probably. wife has to book time off work so she can fly out and bring him back. we want to avoid xmas and new year....sooo--can we put a date beyond 3 months as his travel date--say 15th december-- so he can travel up to 15 th january ?
