I think the OP is inside the UK. If it was ph, she can go around various cities to get an appointment (even pay a travel agent) and request for priority.

They are not possible at the uk embassy- you can only wait.

    Guys..... some help pls.
My wife's passport has now lapsed, so she needs a new Filipino passport.
But in the meantime she's also acquired UK citizenship (and a UK passport).

So..... on the form "NEW REGULAR PASSPORT APPLICATION"
it states I HEREBY DECLARE AND AFFIRM that 1) I am a Filipino citizen
...... which is obviously not the case, as that was effectively given up when she acquired British citizenship

So, I guess we also fill in the form "REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RETENTION OR REACQUISITION of PHILIPPINE CITIZENSHIP", and present both forms at the same time ?

I'm sure others have faced this question, so any info would be gratefully received.
    Thks

It`s been many years since my Mrs became a dual citizen so no idea of the process anymore.
I suppose that has to be taken care of first.
From memory she had to fill out forms and then take an oath at the R.P embassy in London in order to reacquire officially her Filipino nationality..
After that, apply for new R.P passport.

Previous to this, dual citizenship was not allowed but most Filipino`s I knew back then that had nationalities of other countries simply renewed their R.P passports anyway!!

Yeah she should go through the Reacquisition of Philippine citizenship process, it is an administrative procedure and is basically a bit of form filling along with the oath, there is no issue or conflict with UK citizenship, dual citizenship is not a problem.

Ana was stateless back in 2004 and it was a bit harder back then to get things fixed but she ended up with South Korean citizenship and her Philippine nationality restored in 2007.

Turn up in the morning. Take a number. Sit and wait your turn. Be insulted. Go home.

And make sure you take cash because they don't take cards.

Youd think they would adapt. What is the point of having a bloody social media when they wont respond to you!!!! Getting worried if my Passport would come in time for my Settlement Visa on April

    Philippines embassy

    6-11 Suffolk St, London SW1Y 4HG

Was there to register marriage but seemed to be same queues to pay for passports and sure there were signs to upstairs to do processing of passports after paying. Not quick to pay so advice to arrive early is good and assume it will be a long day.

Also bring a stamped envelope with you if you want it mailed to you afterwards. They suggested tracked service for our report of marriage and you have to provide - cannot just pay for it to be done.

I found the staff I dealt with to be professional and helpful - one member of staff checked our stuff and when photocopy that we had was a3 she offered to photocopy it down to required a4 size. May depend on who you have to deal with as I remember thinking that when being checked/paying there seened to be one guy there who was quite happy I was not dealing with.

As far as i know a lot of people complains about thw Phil.Embassy staff not answering the phone calls but i suggest you better visit the website for whatever purpose you need.
Every information is provided in there.
Should in case you need to renew, make sure you have a PSA copy of your birth cert. FOR change of name (to married) you need to provide Report of Marriage PSA copy if you had been married in the UK.
I just renewed my passport and applied for change of name and it just took me an hour including the waiting time. And btw, when you provide a self addressed envelope, make sure you take note of the tracking no.Passport will be delivered to you in 6-8 weeks.
No problem at all if uou have all the requirements ready.
