Blue Peter was required viewing for this wee boy in late 60s / early 70s.

Mum used to let me eat in the living room to watch BP and other gems like Animal Magic, Vision On and TomTom.

Never a huge fan of Magpie - although my awakening loins did seem to appreciate Susan Stranks forgetting to wear a bra!

Thanks for the memories John (and the ma**aries Susan!) ;):like::)

"How" was a great, fun, intelligent programme.

I remember all the characters - but countryman Jack Hargreaves was the best. Like a kindly uncle or even grandfather. Fine fly angler iirc.

They don't make 'em like they used to.
