    Lovely piece of kit.

My Mrs, moidered me to death to change phone. I never, ever said that she couldn't, and recently ( about 6 months ago) I got her to stop paying huge monthly bills by opting to SIM only deal, as her iPhone was well overpaid through o2...........
Due to the car being off the road, I was walked to a frazzle from phone shop to phone shop, until she decided on the Samsung from Carphone Warehouse ( I am not advertising for them, I despise them...)
True to form. as soon as we got home, opened the box, started fiddling with the damn thing, she changed her mind............. That after she made me order a gel back cover and tempered front glass to the tune of 16 quid from Amazon ( I am advertising for them).........
This morning it Took me ages to convince her to let me insert the Sim card in her new phone, and as I was doing so, Amazon delivered the items ordered only less than 20 hours earlier...
The gel back and front glass don't get along........ So the glassine front is out........ Now she doesn't like it anymore........
    I feel rather stressed.
I lost count of how many things I have had to return and ask for a refund........ Handbags, clothes, wallets, the list is endless...........

I was tasked to set it up for her by her, and interrupted at every stage....
Definitively easier to set up than iPhone, that is for sure, or it may just be that I am used to Android and therefore I know the steps better.

Admittedly it is a superb piece of kit.

That's a really nice phone but I'm just a little wary of owning a device whose battery is built-in. That it's a Samsung makes me doubly wary!

My wife just bought a new Samsung S8 plus. She's pretty hot with mobile phones and had it set up, fully customized and all the data transferred from her old S6 Edge plus, in less than 30 min. It's an impressive device, but being an iPhone guy myself, I couldn't admit that to her, lol.

I have to admit that, although in a way respecting the innovative technology and whatnot, I have an unexplainable phobia and hate for anything Apple inspired.
So I was quite happy that my wife decided on a Samsung, without any prompting from my part. Actually I felt like a spare part and full of dread, knowing of what was to come in regard of setting up, downloads and inner fears of her forgetting passwords, as she does............

I'm an apple user when it comes to desk tops and laptops but have the S8 and the S3 tablet. I actually dropped my S8 on launch day and smashed the screen. I tweeted Samsung UK for a screen repairer and they replaced free of charge. Not sure Apple would to that.

Interesting to note that your wife is as strong as mine is, Dom.
If anyone thinks prior to marriage that Filipinas are always submissive, they are in for a very big shock

BTW, I have a Samsung Note 4 and like it very much.
