We have a schegen visa via France. We are thinking to take a trip to Portugal first now.

Would it be fine to fly from UK to Portugal the back to UK with the Schegen visa ? Worried they might ask for our ticket to France also as the visa says 'France' along the top.

Seems to indicate British Citizens don't need a visa for Schengen area so presumably you're asking for your partner... a filipina?

There are 2 guidelines for entry on a Schengen visa
    1. Point of entry to the country you first land in and intend to spend the most time in
    Or
2.point of entry to an EU country for onward transit to another or others EU country.
So in theory you are ok to enter Portugal and leave Portugal on your current visa if asked you can state you intend to travel up to and back from France

Thanks guys. Yes for my partner.

So what about when we travel in August to Italy ? We should get another Schegen visa for Italy? ( Our France one will still be in date)

Is it a multi entry visa? If so as above land in Italy.
