RIP aged 88 a good run and a gentleman

Before my time but he was always a racing legend. A time when only posh white boys were athletes, probably made it more impressive as like the old rugby union teams, everyone had day jobs as well.

I used to like watching England play rugby and find out what they did as a job. doctor, Policeman etc.

lol you forget the great Jesse Owen (USA) a one off at the time I guess.
