I am happy with his appointment.
Maybe he will get Everton to stop leaking goals and losing matches from a winning position.

He was a winner as a player, I hope his winning mentality rubs off on the players.

I reckon that the real Target was Pellegrini, and did not even consider the offer.

I would have loved having seen Benitez in charge at Everton............ Stuff of dreams............

Yeah Benitez is a top top bloke.

I dont think Pellegrini would accept a club with little or no money to spend.

Farhad Moshiri, 61, was born in Iran, lives in Monaco and is a British citizen. He is worth $1.8 Billion net worth according to "Forbes".

Apparently, Pellegrini was on the shortlist but Koeman was Moshiri's first choice.
There was absolutely no chance Everton would have Benitez or Moyes as their manager these days due to what happened previously.

Evertonians hope Moshiri will push through a new stadium and there should be a tidy lump sum for this season's transfer kitty.

Koeman hasn't been unveiled yet but the ink should go on paper soon.

    Onwards and upwards.

    Ahhhh I stand corrected.

I have always said Everton are a sleeping giant.

Your optimism on Everton, like one of my colleagues, is somewhat "refreshingly naive"...
On the same lines as mine about Chelsea getting anywhere near European footie next season...

    If only..........
