I have posted a query on the 30th March 2017 about the proof of sole responsibility and I have received comments from members here which really helped me a lot. I have also read a lot of thread that contribute on helping me organised all my requirements. I have 3 separate applications; for my 16 yr old daughter, for my 8 yr old son and for myself and I have paid extra 700 USD for priority service for each applications (2,100 USD, really hurts). Please refer to the timeline of my applications: April 7th (Thursday) – submitted online application April 10th (Monday) – submitted all the documents to VFS-Qatar In VFS-Qatar they need to send all the visa applications to the center hub for Middle East which is in UAE and it will take a day for them to receive it. April 11th (Tuesday) – received by UAE British Immigration April 19th (Wednesday) – I received an email that our passports are ready for collections in VFS-Qatar and we didn’t waste any time we picked it up right away today and it’s all approved. Take note also that Friday and Saturday in Middle East is the usual day-off as the offices are only from Sun-Thurs and also the 16th and 17th April (Sunday and Monday) were Easter Holiday. So all in all without considering the holidays it only took them 4 days inclusive of the delivery days technically it only took 2 days. So its really worth it to pay extra for Priority service. I will post all the requirements that I have submitted in order to help those who are and will be applying for visa as well. I am also willing to help and answer queries because I fully understand the difficulties that we need to go through in order to get the visa. Thank you again for all the people who helped me @Timmers , @joi1991 , @Brom27 , @Methersgate , @bigmac , @Scotschap16 , @graham59 , and for those members who implicitly helped me by reading all their threads.
Thank you. It is good to see people like you and Brom using this forum in the way in which our founder, Sean Ryan, intended it to be used - by asking questions, taking advice and then passing on the experience you gain to others.
Congratulations!!! I'm so so jealous it only took you a couple of days. But then again you deserve it - the $2,100 was worth it!
Congrats, really happy for you. As a long time resident of Dubai, it is encouraging to know that the authorities here are doing a great job.
