Thank you so much Brom27 and Bigmac.

Thank you for your help. But do you have an idea on the papers my husband needs to provide?

Cant he join this site? His involvement in your visa application is vital as your sponsor...he has a lot to do.

Can I ask if anyone has contacted UKVI about the spouse visa application when 12 weeks have passed and no decision made? If so did you get any reply and was it helpful? Also how did you contact them? Was it using the email address or telephone where you get charged ?
Is the decision made in the embassy in Manila?
Thanks for any advice or help

In the process of applying for wife and her two hildren's visa to come to uk.

Going through the form there is a section to include dependent children - is this were they are covered or do they need their own application separately ?

Assuming as youngest does not have father on birth certificate and oldest father named on birth certicate is dead and we have PSA copy of death certificate to include in application this should address issues over sole responsibility.

Currently all in UK at the moment as got marriage visa and visitor visa for two children and have made the most of it using the six months of the visa so hoping experience getting that will have ironed out any issues of responsibility although any suggestions appreciated. We will all go back in september so should have evidence of complying with visa restrictions as leave with a few days of visa period left.

One of the other things we gave done in UK was to put a UK parental responsibility agreement for step parent (me) in place for both children - waiting for that to be returned from family court in London. We did that for other reasons but I'm assuming that will be good evidence for application for all three visa's as shows evidence of relationship and links to childen and official document showing only parental responsibility.

We have used trip to sort out english test requirements doing A1 at trinty college london site in cardiff to cut down on what needs to be done once back in Philippines (on home office list so dont anticipate any problems on that). Just need TB test which as far as I can tell will have to be done when we go back to philippines.

Are there any issues that need to be aware of with regards to paying for the visa fees when in philippines as my plan is to go back in september, get tb tests done shortly after get back and then submit application and do biometrics during the 2 and a half weeks while I'm there and then take the full pack back with me to submit to Sheffield when I get back. Alternative is fedex from philippines and not sure which is better option. Any thoughts appeciated.

    2 and 5.

They have to be screened at same time as wife although may only require screening not cheast x-ray.

    Children
All children must see a clinician who’ll decide if they need a chest x-ray. Children under 11 will not normally have a chest x-ray.

You must take your child to an approved clinic and complete a health questionnaire. If the clinician decides your child doesn’t have TB they’ll give you a certificate. Include this certificate with your child’s UK visa application.

There will be 3 separate applications since she’s applying with 2 dependent. 3 application forms and you will also pay for all 3 of them. Most documents can be shared like the financial and accommodation documents.

Are you doing the application on line?

    Yes.

Started on wife's application and they ask about dependants traveling with you so was assuming that they picked up the details for the two children from that and then had to pay for all three as a single payment. Single application for all three would make more sense but guess system is not designed to make sense.

Came to that conclusion as would have preferred to have done it here in UK so on departure from UK could have got visa application in straight away. Now will have to take a few days on arrival to sort hopefully the last element.

Do you get the certificate the same day for tb clearance ?

Gone through list of approved the test centres and nothing in UK. With cost for three visa's cannot afford to take risks so will stick with getting it done in Manila.
