Spouse visa refusal appeal how long

hello our spouse visa was refused because i didnt send a letter from my employer stating my salary and job title and stsrt date how long does an appeal take

Did you check if you can submit an appeal? Most of the refusal letter indicate if you can appeal or not. I know you've spent a big amount already but I think it's better to re-apply.

Hello yes it says we have 28days to appeal

Ive contacted my old boss got a letter done and going to bank to get more statements etc

Do i have to pay for an appeal

I'm not sure. But I think they will just consider the the documents you've submitted to them during the app process.

Maybe others can advise you more.

Just spoke to an immigration lawyer im not appealing it takes a year

And inform anyone applying rule change more than one job in a year 12 months bank statements 12 wage slips letter from employer

Timescale and the reason that he submitted lack of doc (letter of employment).

@Colin4000 , I'm so sorry to hear of your refusal. You both must be devastated.
May I ask, was the employer's letter in the checklist produced when you applied? Or is it more of an "unofficial" requirement?

Whether this will be any help or not it’s up to you. I supplied a letter from employer for both fiancée visa and FLRM. My employer told me after we had applied for FLRM that he had been contacted by Ukvi to confirm the details in the letter were true and correct.
