Spouse visa wait

    Hello we put our application in on March 16th currently 16 weeks waiting on decison ukvi arent accepting phonecalls anyone else in same position

    Probably there will be couples in the same situation as yours, and with the Covid-19 virus and various curfews in place in Pinas, I would not expect a resolution for a wee while yet.
    Sorry to burst your bubble, but if one starts with the worst case scenario, won't feel too down if things are slightly delayed.
    The other thing is that nothing is getting processed by Filipino offices, and certainly the CFO ain't taking appointments
    (CFO Seminar Philippines. All Filipinos going abroad as fiancées, spouses or family members of foreign nationals are required to attend the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) guidance and counseling session in order to secure the Guidance and Counseling Certificate (GCC) and the CFO sticker.)

    I sympathise with your situation, Colin, but there really is nothing you can do to expedite the decision.

    To give you some hope/perspective we waited 6 months (to the DAY) for a Fiancée Visa, long before Covid-19 reared its ugly head around the globe.
