Always interested to see how colours change and the differences in sunsets in different parts of the world..
Here`s some we took of our area on a cheap phone.

    You having your T?

Wifey is about five miles away from there now.

    I like Crosby, though.

Camera does not matter, glass is important but some technical knowledge is also important, took me decades to develop a decent eye, I was mostly only a good technical photographer for most of my life and my work was technical photography when I was in that industry.

These were taken on a Kodak DC3400 2.1 megapixel digital camera.
edit: should have added these are Scotland again, Ardrossan the middle one is the upper Clyde.

Not quite a sunset shot but it's relevant to the thread as this is the Mersey in the background.

my wife would like a digital SLR camera for xmas. any recommends ?

ive got a 12 year old lumicron i bought from tesco---complete with a 1gb card ! hardly bother with it now--the battery doesnt hold charge long.

then i bought a creative vado hi definition mini camcorder. worked fine. then..after a while the battery died on it--managed to source a new one from germany--no use--only held charge for a few minutes.
creative offer no product support any more--their website said it had its usage lifetime.
