TB Certificate query "abnormal"

The gf is in Manila doing all the preliminary stuff before we get serious about the visa application.

She has been given her TB Certificate and she is thrilled. Mostly thrilled because I told her that they would have to do a thorough inspection up her puwet, so she was relieved only to have an x-ray. Anyway, the certificate states "No evidence of active pulmonary TB" which is great. But the box is 'ticked' to say that the chest x-ray was abnormal.

Anybody have any idea what that's all about? Have they found potential evidence of another ailment, but they are only paid to check for TB so that's all they're gonna do? Clerical error?

    Thoughts appreciated. tb.jpg

I think it was @Emz|Ray❤ who got Abnormal result for the chest X-ray as well but I forgot the reason.

Maybe it's no biggie, but at least she is negative for TB so that's the main thing.

Hi, I got "Abnormal" too.. they usually explain why at the medical center? The guy at the front desk gave me the Medical Examination Form together with my TB certificate and advised me to submit both when applying. I don't have TB but they found out I have mild scoliosis, which shouldn't affect my visa application. I went with my daughter who also took the TB test, she came negative and all "Normal" so they just gave her the certificate. So yeah, as long as she's negative for TB she should be ok :)

Both my fiancé and son had abnormal test result - but no TB. Her son also has mild scoliosis. It doesn't stop Settlement visa.

The clinician said such results are commonplace - most likely linked to poor air quality / background pollution.

My wife passed the tb x ray but find she had problem with her heart,so they would not give her the tb cert until she had it sorted and held us back for 6 months, they wanted her to have operation in the hospital they done the tb and was very expensive,so she just have more tests and after 6 months had another tb xray and passed,we was mad as she had passed the tb,
