That rate is probably the best you'll get and if you're a customer, you don't pay commission. In any event exchange rates are set by BSP which manipulates the market somewhat.

I paid my (HSBC) credit card today using online banking and the Pound's sell price was 67.40. A couple of hours later I withdrew some cash from my Sterling account and the (HSBC) cashier came up with a rate of 67.25. This was a bit better than either of the forex booths in SM who were offering 65 but not as good as in Manila this morning when a rate of 68.41 was on offer.

Do they charge for the service in manila?
