A future King and one of his subjects
William sitting on the pavement with a child and Kate kneeling to be at the same level with another..
The shape of a future Monarchy to come.

I don't think they happened to meet those kids outside of Asda.

Every official royal visit is a photo shoot.

And if that kalbo twunk thinks I'll be one of his subjects, I'll give him a tin of spaghetti hoops.

After having lived in two Republics, Italy and Western Germany, I can honestly say, I like the current British system a heck of a lot more.

I appreciate and respect your opinion, and would defend it, but to me it sounds as if you see that the grass seems to be greener on the other side of this particular fence.
    It is not.

The Monarchy, as in HM The Queen, has no powers what so ever.
The PM holds all the power in his hands, by National Plebiscite.

So, really, it doesn't make an apith of difference if the UK was a Republic.
Actually, it pays having the Monarch there.
    but what do I care.

    I am only a foreigner.

Considering that people were queuing up to eat rats in the event that Brexit would have a negative cost to the UK, I'm sure you'll understand that I'll accept the financial burden of getting rid of the monarchy if it leads to fewer tourists from Nagasaki and Nebraska or lower fridge magnet sales at Heathrow.

It is impossible for them to go on the streets to meet and greet as there is so much preparation for a royal visit; police, anti-terrorism, press, media etc.
Everything has to be planned a long time in advance, even snipers strategically placed in the vicinity.
It is always a photo op.

This should be photoshopped (changing to new faces) and copied into the George Floyd thread.
