Haha! Yep, he didn't but I understood exactly what he said or trying to say, which again I don't believe is funny.

I think in forums like this, it is everyone's responsibility to be respectful. I like diversity and healthy discussions. And I also believe that it's never wise to generalize, unless you have data to back it up.

I am very thankful to have stumbled upon BF as it's very helpful. I hope the forum stays that way - full of very useful information and not posts that disrespects other people, culture, race, etc.

I agree that we should all be respectful young lady. That's why I've respectfully returned your 'dumb' rating for my perfectly polite and reasonable post. Cheers. :like:

Oh sorry! I never rated anything as "dumb". If I had, it may have been accidental (fat fingers) and you have to accept my apology. Sorry!

I can only apologize for graham.
I have removed his dumb rating.

Thanks @ChoiAndJohn! You didn't really have to. But I did check the ratings I have given and had to retract some which didn't make sense why I rated them as such. Lol! Oh well :)

No need to apologise for me thanks.

I can do it all by myself... and without flaming from you.

My wife was regularly spoken to in Thai by Thai people when she was in Thailand and she learnt the phrase "food thai my dye" (bad spelling) which means "I am not Thai".

According to my wife, the common spelling is tae. Not tai. And the whole thing is stupid.

The word's spelling is irrelevant as it was put in form of reported speech (ie it was spoken).
