thats great, does it make a difference if i travel with her , as i hoping she can go just with her friends,
i looked at the spain site and it gave no allowence for a uk spouse visa being free, it stated they were £170, which i think is a jike

have you any links to where i can apply and it states free for uk spouse
or any where with any info saying she can get free
any help would be good, as i got lost on the spain website

If you read the first post on this thread it says it's free if the applicant is travelling with the spouse. Why are you not going with her then?

Reading from all other forums I know they got Schengen visa free applying with their partners and travelling together so I'm not sure if it makes any difference if your wife will be alone but let us know you get on. Best of luck :)

This is new to me,,,,and looks very promising.

Still means a trip to London for my wife to apply but looks a lot more straightforward than last time I looked into a visa for Spain.

    Has anyone applied through BLS?

I booked an appointment in BLS but i cant seem to find or figure out where to get the online application..they sent me a letter confirming for the appointment and one of the requirements is to bring the application form, I click on the application form and it takes me back to booking an appeointment...i dont get it im a bit clueless now how to find the application form

My wife booked an appointment online with BLS. The only way for her to do this was to proceed with the application form...
Unless you mean the Schengen visa application form.
For both of these she just clicked the links.
Here's the screenshots of where they are, highlighted in blue. Screenshot_2017-03-28-15-46-20.png Screenshot_2017-03-28-15-46-45.png

    You're welcome.
I phoned the BLS office last week and was told that visas take 5-6 days to process at the moment. I suppose that could easily change if they get busier!
We'll take the option of having the passports and papers sent to us by courier, don't want another trip to London to collect them.

I've been reading this thread to prepare for our schengen visa application. Paris is our main destination (honeymoon) so I assume we apply in the French embassy.

My question is, is it possible to appy for a 90-day multiple entry visa?

Thanks for this thread @Micawber. Although I am not sure if you are still active in this forum :)

Anyone recently applied for Schengen visa to Spain in the UK? I know @portia did but she is on holiday. I don't want to bother her

I tried accessing the BLS website but it only shows the current month to book an appointment. Our holiday to Spain is booked mid-September so we are planning to apply for my visa mid-June. I read not-so-good feedback about their appointment system.

    Can anyone share their experience?

I read the same about Spain. I recently applied for Schengen Visa but with France. They gave me 6 months validity. No hassle with appointments and such. My friend @katkatmachine will soon apply for her Schengen Visa with Spain for her holiday in June so she might be able to give an insight about the process.

I gave them a ring a couple of weeks ago about their booking system. The earliest they open slots for appointment is every 15th of the month prior to your intended booking month. So if you're applying in June, check the 15th of May. They allow 40 applicants per day.
