Yeah he put a camera into my hands from a very early age :)

Kodak Brownie 127 I think, and that was not the first one :)

Lovely shot. The composition is very good - leading lines showing the "story".

My dad will have taken that on the Kodak Sterling II 620 format roll film camera, I'm about 4 or possibly 5 years old at the time.

Over time peoples faces change so much that they aren’t indetifiable as an adult but you’re indistinguishable between child and adult.

Janna is very like me as a child.

You’re right she is the spit of you.

I don’t know if anyone agrees but in the vast majority of cases I find the filipino features usual ‘over power’ the features of mixed kids. I see my kids have strong features of their mothers side and not so much mine. The youngest one does have very light skin though.

She is a pretty one, Jim.
I am always amazed at how ultra-formal everyone was 50 or so years ago.

    Thanks Mike, she is.

Formality our version of 'Face' in the post war era :)

I think being stuck in suit and tie at that age made me rebel against formal attire for the rest of my life, I even used to offer my customers a discount on my daily rate if they were happy for me not to turn up in a suit :D

Of course my starting rate was pretty high in the first place :D

I think the yanks started the informal attire, Jim, and Europe followed.

    Yes, I agree also Paul.
Filipina beauty (as clearly evidenced in our wives' faces) is so obviously reflected in our children's faces.

It is such a mystery to me that this beauty is not viewed by our wives as much as by us.....
As we know, there are many reasons for this - Malay v Chinese and the insecurities because of this.
We are lucky to have beautiful wives and consequently beautiful kids :)

I remember Ana calling me when she got the first ultrasound scan, she was excited because Janna was my double :D

I'm not sure but I think quite a lot of mixed Filipino kids do take after the foreigner side, I am sure there will be lots of examples going both ways :)
