They need to do the eArrival pass at the least, this is 72 hours prior to arrival instead of the much shorter reporting period in the past.

It's still this address One Health Pass but the requirements are not as strict now.

And the page looks like this below, they need to click on "register" and answer the questions, they are not as bad as they once were I've done three pages but not completed it as I was just testing out the requirements, I travel in December too.

I think you still need to be fully vaccinated but if you read the steps under that link you will find out what the requirements are.

All other requirements are exactly the same as they were in the past, your wife is still Filipino so she has few if any issues going home and your son if I understand correctly is actually also Filipino via the jus sanguinis rules albeit that he is probably travelling on a British passport.

Don't do this pass until 72 hours before the flight and I mean any time exactly after 72 hours before the flight don't do it 73 hours before.

No need to be vaccinated at all.
    just an e arrival card.
If unvaxinated,a negative antigen or PCR test will do taken 24 hrs prior.
    Pre depart or on arrival.
If your wife is a Filipino citizen or a dual citizen then she can request a 1 year visa free stay for your Son on arrival.

That's all correct and I did mean to mention his wife's Balikbayan privilege, however I still consider the RT-PCR requirement onerous if you are not vaccinated, easy if you are vaccinated more complicated if you are not.

Will our 5 year old need a PCR test?

Accompanied minors under 15 shall follow same protocol as parent or guardian that is traveling with them. Yes,either a negative rapid Antigen or PCR test required.
Best to have this done prior to departure because if either are tested positive on arrival then they will lock them up in a nasty quarantine hell hole for 5 days and then re rested until negative.
    Not advised!
