My wife got a call from the hospital regarding a tuberculosis test. They said it's a new initiative, did anyone else have this? She's on a spouse visa

Agreed. Our kids had TB vaccinations due to Asawa’s country of origin.

    She got this email:
The following appointment has been made for you
Specialty & Clinic Respiratory Medicine : HL 5N - NLed TB Compliance
    Appointment
    Date/Time Wednesday
Location Main Outpatients Dept - Level 0 Main Building
The above appointment has been made for you to see the nurse specialist for TB services. Please try to keep any
arranged appointments. Missed appointments waste resources and you may be discharged from our service if you do
    not attend.
If the date or time is inconvenient, please do not hesitate to contact us on 020 8887 2424, and we will arrange a
further date or time at your convenience.
It is very important that you bring any medications you are taking with you each time you attend, keeping them in their
original containers if possible. The doctors and nurses will ask to see these medications.
North Middlesex University Hospital is a teaching hospital, and therefore medical and nursing students may be training
in the Outpatient department with our staff. We understand that some patients would prefer not to have a student
present during their appointment. If this is the case, please let the receptionist or nurse know upon arrival in clinic.
Parking and Travel Information: Managed by CPM UK: Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), pay in
advance. Entrance via Bull Lane. Please see our website www.northmid.nhs.uk for further details. By train to Silver
Street Station, or by local buses.

    Yours sincerely,
    TB Administrator

as my wife was diagnosed with TB when tested as part of her fiencee visa application--and successfully treated--she has twice requested tests in the UK, by way of a doctors visit. x rays were clear. cost=nothing.
