Greetings everyone, first you may remember me as being locked up in the Philippines and I would like to thank everyone for their help while I was incarcerated.
When I arrived back in the UK I vowed to turn my life around and also bring my two girls over anyway I could. The first year back I tried to get them their UK Passports which was a no go as while I am the biological father their mother was married at the time but not living with the husband as he was in America... having married a Filipina in New Zealand in 2008.
I tried getting them both visit visa which was also denied as I was unemployed at the time.
After spending all my pension lump sum on trying to get them here and the cost of living crises for me started in 2021 I got a job nights for Amazon and I met my future wife to be Stella at the same time... in January we decided to try and bring the girls again to the UK as their mother was making so many demands on me and taking her fury out on the girls ie child abuse.
So in January I filled out the forms for citizenship UK(FM) and sent the forms with all their papers to Liverpool we got a reply in the first month for their biometrics which were done at the VI center in Manila over six months ago now.
Meanwhile two weeks ago I can a two am call on social media from my eldest girl ChaCha that their mother had smashed up another CP that I had provided and was abusing them and trying to throw them out the house... I asked the girls to kindly goto the barangay kaptain while I somehow tried to kinda rescue them from here.
I managed to speak to a police person from camp crame via messenger who tried to fob me off.... that was until I reminded him that I had made a complaint for child abuse to him and if anything now happens to the girls he would be responsible (mentioning the embassy also helps) and they managed to get a unit from Marikina police to them in thirty minutes. They then took her to Marikina police station where on my insistence the girls bottered their mother.
The DSWD refused to take them in (they haven't committed a crime) and the mothers family were rather reluctant to help as well.
So I made a deal with the old landlord where they are now in a dorm and I pay P1500 for each child per month plus food at P3000 a week, obviously I don't know how much longer I can keep two families running as I'm no longer working as my knee gave way last December and I've been on the sick since then.... I have the fare here sorted and safe in the bank but maybe if it goes on past October I may have to start dipping into my savings.
Meanwhile to get intouch with Liverpool is a nightmare as I phoned the numbers given on the home office webpage for several days only to be told that I need to write to them. I contacted my local mp Sir Robert Buckland who can only write to Liverpool also. As Stella my fiancé is from Africa she knows an immigration lawyer who helped her so I contacted her today and she agreed to try and help me and the girls for a flat fee of £300.. which unfortunately is coming out of Stella's pocket .

So to the crux of this post now.. if any of yous guys know of anything else we can do to expedite this process quicker for me please reply.

I feel the momentum is slowing down with the authorities here and as you all probably know September and October are important because the prices will skyrocket afterwards... and I feel that maybe dangerous for my daughters.

    Thanks in advance Kevs

Your name rings a bell - long time since I've been in the UK - doesn't sound good now that you're not working again... I guess if Immigration tell you to write - you have to write.

Presume your in Wales, I would: visit your local Citizens Advice Bureau in person, explain the situation and seek their advice - perhaps they can assist you directly or failing that point you in the direction of someone who can - I wouldn't waste any money on lawyers unless you really have to - lot's of do-gooders in the UK to help people like you - shame you're not a sblm with mhsandks :D

Well John I just read back through my post, I don't know where you got the idea I was Welsh or even living in Wales, I live in Wiltshire but thank you for the reply.
Well here's an update, I got a reply from Citizenship Liverpool (basically my original letter sent back with a copy of a letter they sent to the Philippines in July) the letter stated that because of me the girls are entitled to British Citizenship by descent.... it then goes on that enclosed was three Philippine birthcertificates and one British birthcertificate plus various other requirements that I originally sent mainly pictures. This was sent from the UK on July 18th.... on enquiring with one of their mothers sister they admitted that a courier did arrive at the house but because it was addressed to a Mr GA Taylor (my father) they returned to sender (how bitter and twisted can you be when it was quite obvious that the letter pertained to the girls by virtue that my family and the girls family name is TAYLOR) also not telling us until 2 months later.
Ok so back to the drawing board, but I was buoyed by the fact that seemingly we know where the birthcertificates are and that the girls are British citizens now.
So back to the phone and emails first stop FCDO who looked at the covering letter I emailed to them but they won't accept that letter for their ETDs.
I sent my daughter to Philpost in Marikina yesterday who informed her that the pouch was sent back to the UK some three days ago. So yesterday I am very down.
I called the FCDO yesterday who kindly informed me that they will issue ETDs for the girls so long as they can see their Registration documents as British citizens, Citizen Certificate normally sent a week after the requirements are sent.....
Again back to square one.... I also had the girls original blotter translated into English and read it which made my hair stand on end (if I had any) by all accounts their mother attacked my youngest girl age14 with a pair of scissors......
Anyways we sent another letter yesterday addressed to Liverpool asking if they could possibly email a copy of the registration certificate to me or direct to the FCDO..... fingers crossed now.....

It makes you wonder what powers the FCDO do have now as they do not have access to see if you are a British citizen or not they also do not have access to your passport records either. They can only issue ETDs and if the border force believe that these ETDs are in anyways fraudulent they can and will deport you back to the country you came from. But here's hoping that won't happen to my girls.

We're still hoping for a flight out on the 5th of October everything should have returned to normal in the UK by then what with the unfortunate death of HRH Queen Elizabeth the second.

    Long live the King. received_1368438687019586.jpeg received_649635573044034.jpeg 20220907_145637647_002.jpg received_1368438687019586.jpeg received_649635573044034.jpeg 20220907_145637647_002.jpg 20220907_145637647_003.jpg
