Hello! I have just passed my Theory Test. I am looking for any referrals of a DRIVING INSTRUCTOR :)

My friend referred me to a good one, but he is based in Mitcham which is 1 hour away from me. I live in N1 :)

    Thanks in advance!

i bought a nice low mileage fiesta diesel in 2017 for my wife to learn to drive in--and as our daily runaround. when i put her on my insurance policy--as a new learner with a new provisional licence--i was astonished to find the premium actually went down--about 15%--instead of sky rocketing which i had expected.

so far--she hasnt so much as sat in the drivers seat--or even booked a lesson.

I can use my own car for the test, right?

My wife took her test in the instructors car which was an automatic. At home she practiced in our own car which we was identical except in colour (not dual control of course). We put in a concerted effort to get her through the test. She passed 2nd time around. However, as she drove an automatic for the test she cannot now drive a manual unless she retakes the test using a manual gearbox - maybe not a smart move.

The car does not need dual controls for the test.

So I only need an extra interior rear-view mirror for the examiner. Do you know any instructor?
