"Campaign groups representing EU citizens seeking to protect their right to remain in the UK after Brexit have warned they will reject any deal that gives the Home Office a say in their future.

Grassroots campaign groups across the UK and Europe wrote to EU negotiators on Monday to say the Home Office “cannot be trusted” following last week’s debacle when the department mistakenly sent up to 100 letters to EU nationals living in the UK ordering them to leave the country or face deportation."

Are we supposed to care what they think... us being British citizens who have less rights than they do in certain circumstances... like when wishing to bring our own partners to live here in the country of our birth ? Pah !

The only reason they're not under the Nazi jack boot is because of the sacrifices made by millions of Brits.

We have quite enough parasites in this country, without trouble-making ones.

I'd like to see them try to kick up that sort of a fuss in a country like the Philippines.

Accept that the party is over and return home in good grace.

I don't give a damn who made the rules.

Glad YOU get a laugh out of it though.

Whilst it is true that John Major did obtain certain opt-outs in the Maastricht Treaty - for which he received more support from the Opposition benches than his own colleagues - it is Tony Blair who could have reversed the situation with the Lisbon Treaty but chose not to.

In case it has escaped your attention, we're in the process of leaving the European (soon-to-become) Federation, not joining it.

I'm struggling to find the appropriate way to express my joy at your unfortunate return.

You don't give a damn who made the rules.

You don't care what 'they' think.

Perhaps it's just as well that no-one really gives a damn what you think.

    Cheers.

HE is on ignore anyway, so of little consequence to me, other than having to waste time deleting the childish little 'dumb' turds that he likes to leave. :)

Not a question of likes or dislikes I just thought that Graham had left. Sure, the forum is a better place without him but I think I'll come to terms with his return.

If you want to remain in the EU, you should be supporting Vince Cable and NOT Jeremy Corbyn!! Corbyn, Milne, Fisher, McDonnell, Abbott all realise that to implement the far-left agenda they seek (ie turn Britain into a facsimile of Venezuela), the very last thing they need is interference from the EU Commission or ECJ. And there will be: facets of Labour's agenda can not be implemented by virtue of EU law.

Or, move to a EU country like Spain or Greece or Malta.

Interesting that you should choose three countries that only pay lip-service to Brussels and interpret laws and directives to suit themselves, if at all. And, if memory serves, Keith doesn't do too well in hot climates so if you're advocating he moves to a new country, then Belgium or Luxembourg would be better suggestions.

Equally, if you want out off the EU, then you could move to the UK!

Why would I want to do that when I have everything I need and want right here? As I have told you before, I voted for my childrens' future not my own.

I do wonder how long it will be before the hard-left have that light-bulb moment when they realise that staying in the EU in any way, shape or form will not enable them to carry-out their Marxist agenda.
