    Agreed. Looking at various ranges of kitchen cabinets and wardrobes the salesmen typically throw in a line about it being German and you then half expect them to say “ Vorsprung Durch Technik” :D

    The sliding mechanism for sliding wardrobes can be a weakness on a component that needs to be made as cheaply as possible yet do the job to last out a warranty which is not always easy to achieve. Having said that, it is a Brit that created the key components for the modern day electric kettle that 20% of the worlds population use (aswell as an amazing clock), a company my wife’s friend’s husband works for.

    For some reason I didn’t see this yesterday when posted. But have seen it somewhere before. Quite funny!

    I quite like IKEA but I still fail to see why we in the UK cannot produce flat pack furniture. Maybe it’s because they in Sweden have a rich source of raw materials i.e. timber?

    Oh, the irony... a French (EU) company contracted to process Visa applications for a non-EU (after Brexit) country! :D
