Did you sent your docs from PH straight to Sheffield ? I did mine too last July 11 and they confirmed July20 but until now they didnt give back my documents, no email and its been 2 months .

No my documents were sent via mail from the UK to Sheffield. I also had to send a pre paid parcel for them to return it.

Ahh I see .Did they already return your Documents ?I'm bit worried as mine was been 2 months .

Yes in july, but post is next day in the uk

We are on day 60 now and the wife is becoming very upset beacuse if we dont here something in four weeks she will be too far pregnant to fly.

I have explained this to my MP and I am going to write to them at sheffield and explain they need to make a descion in two weeks or provide us with a vingerete that is valid for 18 months so our unborn child can obtain her passport.

Call Sheffield and escalate it. At least you've done all you can your side then. Not sure escalating does much. I escalated on day 60 and fiance is now on day 70 and not heard anything. They're supposed to respond to an escalation within 15 working days. Haven't seen much evidence of that but at least you will have done all you can from your end. Not surprised your Mrs is stressed!! I cant believe this, I had just finished writing a polite letter to sheffield, and i was about to write the address on the envelope, when I receive a message from the wife.

They have text her saying the visa application has been made.

No email and the reference number was never recogonized.

Its the best result for us beacuse we can now make plans to have the baby eithier in the Uk or in the Philippines.

I never emailed the vps, I was about too.

Anyway the wife got her passport back today and its a success, I am so happy. I am thankful for this website which has been marvalous in helping me prepare and research.thank you to.everyone who directly or indirectly helped me. I am also thankful to God who is good.

I would say its been bang on 60 working days but its not been that easy. I came back to the uk on September 11th 2016 found a job and its been a long journey to put things into place to get this result.
