These stories about failed battle of Kiev and Russian mistakes... I mean, it's ridiculous really. What Russians did, they attacked from all sides to see how prepared Ukrainians are and they saw that Kiev is strongly defended but in the same time they took Kherson region, in no time. They also fixed many Ukrainian battalions and they focused on Donbass. It was a risky move, yes Russian soldiers died, some died for nothing, but in any case there was more gains than loses.
And people who think that Russians tried to take Kiev, city of more than 3 million people, with less than 40k soldiers, well, those people are brain dead.
Russians are winning the war against the best NATO army in Europe with just 200k soldiers, on such a huge front. Whole west is arming Ukrainians, billions are spent every day basically, Ukrainians are very brave and highly motivated, they have all the intel from USA and UK and Russians are wining every single day.
    Let that sink in.

The headline is slightly sensational although only slightly, "out of control" as in being improperly managed and in a high risk battleground is certainly correct but the reactors are not yet in a desperate situation, there is nothing gradual about a reactor 'physics' crisis and we don't havve that yet but we do have threat to the backup power systems and the thing about water cooled nuclear plants is that they are really dangerous if they are disconnected from the power grid as their cooling circulation system can never be allowed to stop, that's what happened in japan when the backup power systems failed.

It is worrying but note that this headline was from almost a month ago.

Well that's what the extreme right wing fascist faction in the USA media is trying to sell to their citizens and everyone else, in particular the trust fund faux populist Carlson, I mean if ever you had a candidate for a 5th columnist it's him.

But I suppose I shouldn't have raised politics here.

The "fog of war" and doubt spread by propaganda is really a thing,as history has taught us,and for very good reason.
We will soon see who wins and who loses.
Putin will gain much territory. This my opinion.

The local reporting sources that I trust, are saying just that.
2 of the major Ukrainian defensive lines are almost broken leaving the final weakest line exposed they say.
10,s of Thousands of Ukrainian refugees and soldiers flooding into Poland now. Many 1000s of them that have contracted and spreading a terrible TB epidemic.
Hopefully the Polish choose to negotiate with Russia and not decide to become another American or NATO proxy force.
Time for the West to stop funding more needless slaughter of Ukraine men and allow the two sides to negotiate some kind of peace.
