Valid email address

    Hi guys/gals,

    Please check you have the correct email address registered on the forum as we are getting a lot of bounce messages.

    To do this, click on your username at the top right (where you will see Inbox, Alerts), then click on Contact Details.

    Hi, I need some assistance if possible. Yesterday my wife tried to register to this wonderful forum, but is yet to receive the email to finalise her registration. I just wondered what we needed to do to rectify this?

    Nick for some reason the new user list was not showing, is your wife registering as 'emz' if she is I just approved her.

    For some reason I have stopped receiving email alerts, I do not know if the two are related. All my settings are correct.

    Are you with Hotmail/Outlook/Live? If so, we are having problems with Hotmail servers rejecting our emails. Trying to find out what the problem is.

    Ahh, okay, yes my alerts go to my Hotmail account.

    Jen and I are also using Hotmail so this might explain why Jen has yet to receive her confirmation email. We will keep an eye out for it.

    She is a registered member, and apparently she had an account previously on an email address that is so similar it has to be her, she must have forgotten her account details?

    Ok, update from our hosting provider:

    28 Feb - 09:17 - We are still in contact with Hotmail, this is still being treated as a top priority. We will post any updates here as they come.

    26 Feb - 22:38 - Our Operations Support team report that discussions with Microsoft are ongoing presently and no ETA to the resolution is available at this time.

    Well we tried to register using her regular email address, and when we didn't receive the registration email we created another email address and tried to sign up to the forum again. But we still didn't receive an email this secondary account.

    It seems they are both Hotmail accounts, so that explains why the confirmation emails are not getting through, we hope to have this fixed asap.

    Good choice :) I was with them for almost 8 years, just moved over to Exchange online.

    I still have a paid for that catches any join ups and things that generate a lot of spam its just protecting my domain lol
