probably easiest is to cancel it and apply again. contact UKVI and ask whats the best solution.

Hi, my wife reaches her 5 year mark in Aug 2020, and her BRP expires in Nov 2020. How soon before the 5 year mark can we submit the online application? it seems getting places at the priority centers is a little hard from reading the above

Spouse visa is for 33 months so if apply for FLR(m) that would add another 30 months to give expiry at 5 years and three months. So could expiry after the five year point.

That said starting point for the five years will be arrival on UK so need to careful that count from that point not the visa start date which is probably earlier. Think it took us about a month to move so in theory if we leave it until visa expiry minus 30 days before applying for FLR(m) we could be in position that can apply for ILR before expiry of BRP on FLR(m).

Initial checking on subject of ILR indicates that requirement is living in UK for five years so in theory could apply 5 years after arrival in UK assuming meet other residency requirements - no more that 90 days outside UK in last year and 450 days in last five years.

we had a nice run of visa successes a few weeks back its understandable once people have got what they came here for will go quiet.

I suppose it is, although it would be nice to think that some would stay around to help those that follow. I've very often found the site handy. :)

We are only a few months behind you in my wife's application and it looks as though her daughter who came over after her can catch up with the wife as a dependant and do ILR together although daughter won't of been here 5 years.

The big change is the self scan or use of scanning centres!!

That's great news - and rare too to find the government actually helps you rather than putting another roadblock in the way..

I was wondering whether the same proof of address (bills and so on) is required for ilr - do you know?

Not looked in detail but I guess they will have a similar list as FLR applications plus or minus a few bits!
Are you going for British citizenship after ILR

Yes. I suppose so. I have to say that with my wife and 2 stepchildren I'm not at all happy with the government that the total fees will have topped 20k. I hadn't expected it would be so pricey. :)

can someone please inform me of all the stages or just the easiest way after the civil ceremony to land my filipino wife in the uk ? I don't have a lot of time as I work 78 hours a week is it easier to get an immigration solicitor ? if so I guess I would use 1 from uk ?

You may of seen my response to your other post you may not of , as I said in it you have a serious attitude issue!
Will you get help from me? Not a chance... and I suggest you put some effort into researching yourself instead of wanting it on a plate.
    Have a day
