Visa Refused/EEA Family Permit/Revoking British Citizenship Implications

    I too have assembled all the required documents to claim my Irish Citizenship (Grandmother having been born in the Irish Republic) .
    Haven't bothered to progress it any further yet though. I wish I'd done it sooner, before every man and his dog caught on to the idea... and fees were raised to 'greedy' levels... as with the UK visas, etc,

    Yes mine and my mother’s birth certificates. I do not think I needed my mother’s marriage certificate It took a few weeks to get my passport sent to spain where I live

    When I applied in 2010, it was free to those over 65. Shortly afterwards they introduced a fee, but that was long before the Brexit possibility so no connection

    My son had to register on the birth registry before he could then claim nationality. In all there were a lot of bits of paper, certificates etc all certified. It took about 6 months
