Collioure today, fantastic day. About 90% maskvwearing in the touristy streets beach not so but all social distanced . We could learn a thing or 2 for the street behaviour in the UK from what I have seen here.
    Barcelona next

Got a friend who lives in Barcelona, beyond the touristy bits it's the huge amounts of graffiti and the outskirts with what look like favellas I remember most, interesting place though.

It's been a few years since I was last here. The graffiti is evident even out in the sticks I often wonder how they manage to do some of it in some of the places!
Again a high degree of mask wearing in the streets and social distance controls in attractions.
No issues with covid passport so all is good no much better than good, we are having a great time.

Hopefully you won’t get incarcerated in some squalid hotel for a couple of weeks, upon your return. Or even before you leave. Freedom to choose yes.

There is even talk of a winter lockdown in the U.K. now owing to an expected increase in infections. The head of the NHS was referring to it this morning. They are worried about the NHS coping as serious conditions rise and other strains of the virus pop up. Various people we know are cancelling winter holidays overseas or avoiding booking holidays overseas. It still isn’t over but of course some will take a risk.

I enjoyed Barcelona. I have been there twice. But there was no Covid dodging then. And no testing or masks or anything like that. I really enjoyed it both times.

Yeah we all remember your original handle on the forum.

By the way while I might be wrong, "Ash->Volcanism->Geology" is where his handle probably comes from.

John this is not your fault but at this point the only thing that is going to stop this to and fro is for these posts to be ignored.

I mean for you to just try to ignore him.
