Hello, My name is Magnolia. I was born in the Philippines but moved to the U.K 12 yrs ago and is now a naturalized British Citizen. I have arrived here as I have a fiancè in the Philippines and I'm hoping we can start planning about his visa but I don't know where to start. So, that's why I am here just to ask advice from these forum with the knowledge of the members who have done it before. My first question is, Will I need to get all the requirements of a British Citizen if we want to get married in the Philippines even if I was born in the Philippines? By the way, I don't have a dual citizenship, only British citizen. I hope somebody can shed light on me. Thank you very much in advance.

As you have now only a British passport the answer to your question is Yes!
Simply put you are a British Citizen by settlement.
When you come to applying for a visa for your partner you will be the sponsor and a British sponsor
