Hi, after a long appeal and lots of work my wife will arrive on her spouse visa in 3 weeks.
What do we need to do when she gets here? Does she have to register or notify anywhere.
And how do we go about getting an NI number for looking for a job?
Are there many expenses to pay this side?
    Any help would be great.

You have (iirc) thirty days for her to register at a Post Office equipped for biometric processing and obtain her BRP. Once you have done that and received the BRP you can apply for her NI number at a Job Centre Plus equipped for biometric processing.

I recall that these processes required K and I to travel to Colchester and tio Norwich, respectively.

    Keep the credit card handy..

It is 10 days now to collect BRP from your nominated post office you should or will get a letter explaining.
Also NI cards numbers etc can only be done over the phone now. Key in Uk gov NI number application you will see the number.

    - Plus she will tell you, your cupboard for spices isnt enough.

    - Increase in budget for rice. Get the thai jasmine rice variety.

    - make sure she has steady communication with her loved ones in ph. Homesickness will kick in at some point specially if this is her first time away. So if you can afford a wifi connection (less than £20 per month) for her relatives back in ph so they can skype, etc better (not required of course).

All of the above is nothing compared to expense you have already incurred bringing her here with the spouse visa. Plus having her here is priceless.
