    I always enjoyed the Sunday Times colour supplement a very odd but abiding memory were the ads for Volvo Estates with the large bumbers!! The oddity I carry with me

    We must be around the same age - I too recall those add. The ST Magazine was also good for its photojournalism - my nascent and rising levels of testosterone always appreciated the spreads on some indigenous people in Africa, Asia or South America! :D:like::)

    I vividly remember their coverage of the Clay Vs Cooper fight, the Man Utd victory in 68 the world cup of 66, I recall father would take all week to read it the crossword being his pleasure.

    pfft kids today hey back in 69/70 I had a great paper round with a bike not dissimilar to the hovis bike minus the basket[​IMG]
