My partner recently obtained her residence card under Tier 2 General leave to Remain (Restricted Work) and we want to bring her three children here. So I am having difficulty finding the dependant form to bring them in from the Philippines. Please could you direct me to it. She is working in my local hospital in UK.

Can you also give information about them joining the schools in the UK.

Youngest 6, next 15, next 17. Will we have to pay for the 17 year old to go to college? Can he access the student loan?

    Here is the link
    https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/child
    3 seperate applications
    3 tb tests
    3 NHS surcharge fees
CFO stamps for 3 but only 2 seminars one each for the eldest 2

Can't comment on the schooling but colleges seem to vary on courses provided for free or at a cost from what we have experienced placing my wifes daughter Certainly found some basic maths and English courses are free along with other subjects.
    Lots of paperwork
I think you have been on the site long enough to know that the tests all need to be at the appropriate approved test centres, Google is your friend.
    Good Luck

Useful information thank you - how much is it per child? Should we consider paying a company in Manila to sort out the papers for us?

I think it is an individual choice about paying somebody to collate the papers for your applications, some say yeah some say neigh!

He has never cared about his children. Equally his wife and has not been on the page since they were born.

Playing devils advocate! Says who about the father? I think you are going to have to demonstrate very clearly the mother has sole responsibility hear say won't cut it.

you know---the more i read this thread---the more it has a bad vibe about it. i think Larry will find UKVI wont go along with the kids coming over with their mother on a tier 2 visa. she and they ought to be applying for settlement visas after all.

    what say you @Mattecube ?

his wife--? so--are they still married ?

@CatchFriday --you say she is your partner---?

was UKVI aware of this arrangement when she got her tier 2 visa ? or did you 2 get together since she arrived in the UK ?

I don't think Larry is in the equation on this visa path

i dont agree with you there mate....he does say "My partner recently obtained her residence card under Tier 2 General leave to Remain (Restricted Work) and we want to bring her three children here"

i understand a tier 2 visa holder can subsequently apply for a settlement visa.

Hi Larry , good luck with your efforts to bring the three children here .

Forgive me for saying, but it does sound a bit complicated. The oldest is 17, and the youngest is 6 ?

It might be difficult to prove that the father has no interest in any of the children if he’s been around for that long .

Yes I share your concern on that one but at the end of the day she got her visa and you get this type of visa under a certain criteria as a skilled worker ie a sponsorship from an employer and at a £30000 salary level.

Sorry I should of detailed more I dont think a sponsor is then required for a tier 2 visa holder in the UK to bring kids across providing the visa holder has certain amounts of savings (called maintenance) and this is as low as £630 per dependent, that s why I think Larry doesnt fit into the equation

my thoughts are that IF UKVI are aware of @CatchFriday 's arms length involvement, they could take the view they are trying to circumvent the settlement visa process.

I disagree nurses are needed in the UK and the occupation is in shortage, as we all know - my partner has the right to enter the UK and work here. The children come in as dependants, regardless of my status - all I asked for was what form she would use, and queries on the education process.
